30, Fierce, and Full of Spice: My Dubai-Themed Birthday Extravaganza!

October's arrival marked a major milestone – turning the big 3-0! And what better way to celebrate than by showering myself and my loved ones with a little indulgence?

First things first, a Middle Eastern-inspired photoshoot right here in Plymouth. Talk about treating myself! It was a chance to embrace my heritage and capture some stunning portraits with a unique theme. Plus, it was just plain fun!

Next up, sharing my love for Dubai with the people who mean the most. I whisked my crew away to Akoya, a London restaurant filled with authentic flavors and vibrant vibes. Think epic Arabic dinner adventure, complete with delicious food, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.

But wait, there's more! To truly transport them to the heart of Dubai, I gifted them each a taste of the city: decadent chocolates, mini oud perfumes for that intoxicating scent, and, of course, sachets of my beloved Karak Chai to take home – pure joy was definitely served!

Now, with a heart full of gratitude, a camera roll full of stunning photos, and a spirit yearning for more adventures, I can't wait to see what unfolds in the next chapter.

So, let the journey continue.

Treat Yourself

Why treat yourself?

I feel that every once in a while when you have worked and you need a break, treat yourself.

It can be something as small as having an in-home spa day of putting on a face mask and watching your favorite movie to uplift you, splurging out on a new piece of clothing or jewelry that you have once desired or even going to a new restaurant/cafe and stepping out of your comfort zone to experience new flavors that you would have never tried before.

If you don't celebrate yourself now, when will you be able to live life and fully enjoying it?

So with that being said, my birthday is only a few days away and I decided to treat myself to something special every day just to perk myself up and to celebrate my successes from the crazy year I've had, which started today with being pampered by Clifton Photographic Company. 

I applied for one of their deals about a month ago without any intention of getting called back, but to my surprise, they did and I decided with my book release, why not treat myself to a pampering session and photoshoot with them the week before my birthday?

So I set a theme of paying a tribute to some of my favorite females;

With my vision in mind, I arrived at the studio and I was treated like a queen. By that I mean they prepared me for the day and offered me tea/coffee/water..etc and then escorted me to my own personal hair and makeup stylist; Katrina Tuktareva, who did an amazing job of doing my make up for the day. To the point, where I didn't recognize myself.

Once that was completed, I have then whisked away to the photography studio, where Lenka Mikulova did a phenomenal job of capturing the right images based off my vision boards.
